Corporate Social Responsibility Initiatives

Care, compassion, concern, well being and freedom are qualities that encapsulate our essence; consequently, we have invested in a couple of Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives:

Thank God I Can See (TGICS)

Thank God I Can See (TGICS) is an out of clinic service, geared towards preventive eye care especially since the cost of treatment is usually more than the cost of prevention. This program is presented to companies, churches, schools and social clubs. It entails a health talk on ocular issues and a free vision screening to identify cases like Glaucoma, which is a silent thief of sight.

Back to School Program (BTS)

Back to School Program (BTS) is an annual program geared towards examining, diagnosing and treating ocular and visual disorders in children which may otherwise go undetected or unaddressed. These disorders if not treated can lead to a gross reduction in vision and poor academic performance.
This was deemed necessary as a result of W.H.O report which indicated that every 5 minutes a child goes blind. The Back to School program serves as an opportunity to involve teachers, parents and guardians in identifying the visual needs of their pupils, children and wards.

Youth Eye care Program

Youth Eye care Program is a program developed to reduce the burden of the cost of ocular health care on students in tertiary institutions.

YEP allows students save more money on their eye care needs when they visit any Metro Eyes practice center.

Metro Vision Aid Foundation

Metro Vision Aid Foundation: is geared towards preserving the eyesight of people especially in the rural communities via community health outreaches among others.

Public Enlightenment Series

Metroeyes is a public enlightenment series dedicated to adults and kids/young teens (with features on preventive eye measures in children) respectively.
